Electronic Waste Recycling
More than 200 million tons of e-waste are produced each year, and the majority of these items are not properly recycled. Many recycling firms export e-waste overseas, where it’s either dismantled under hazardous conditions or ends up in landfills. Our efforts ensure toxic materials like lead, mercury and cadmium don’t leach into our environment.
Hard Drive and
Data Destruction
We understand the importance of proper, secure destruction of hard drives for our customers.
All hard drives are put through a rigorous degaussing process which uses an extremely strong magnet to erase all information.
Next, the hard drive is forwarded to an upstream provider for metal shredding.
HIPAA & NIST-Compliant Documentation
We take extra precautions to ensure Protected Healthcare Information (PHI) is safe and secure. The Certificate of Destruction we provide helps ensure our clients are able to keep accurate records to meet any HIPAA and/or NIST requirements. The certificate contains the device’s ID number, the data storage brand, the serial number and the date of destruction.
