Our Story
Elijah John Kendrick was born October 16, 2005. Eli, as he’s most known as, was born with a heart defect and Down Syndrome. He is non-verbal, and has grown up with sensory processing, sleep disorders, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and behavior issues. When Eli was 8 years old, he was diagnosed with Autism.
Eli’s father, Jonathan Kendrick, founder and CEO of Digital Technology Partners, always had a passion for computers and technology and hoped that one day, his sons (Eli and Gavin), might follow in this passion, as well. With the lack of adult resources and his desire for Eli to be able to work with computers, Jonathan developed the idea of starting a new division of Digital Technology Partners called, Work4Eli.
Work4Eli was designed to be for-profit, with 100% of the revenue going directly back into the program to help provide paid employment for all team members. Eli regularly visits and assists the team with the recycling processes. His wonderful personality continues to shine despite the struggles he faces and we are so proud to be part of “Eli’s Entourage.”
